I received my undergraduate and doctorate degree from Michigan State University. I have been in small animal private practice for over 20 years, owning my own practice for most of those years. I LOVE veterinary medicine and my focus has always been on the human-animal bond. Our motto, "We treat pets as children," exemplifies my desire to honor those relationships. My special interests include geriatric medicine, dentistry and preventative medicine. Having a housecall practice allows your pets the luxury of being cared for in their own homes, a quality service I'm proud to provide. Alleviating stress for our little patients by treating them in their own homes allows a more accurate evaluation of their medical problems. I look forward to meeting you and your families, providing you with quality medicine for many years to come.
Happy, whom I met when he was a young cat, stole his way into my heart as he has done with many people since then. Because of a medical condition, he became acutely blind by middle age. True to his name, Happy remained full of life, adapting to this loss like a true champion! Happy experiences life to the fullest with his devoted human mom Gail at his side. Now in his geriatric years he remains a handsome and outgoing fellow! . In his honor, "Happy Pets Mobile Vet" was created. Thank you Happy and Gail for allowing me to care for such a wonderful fellow!
» Our Veterinary Housecall Service provides quality, comprehensive health care for your pet in or at your home.
» Having us come to your home eliminates transportation stress and waiting room anxiety experienced by many pets in a trip to a veterinarian's office; they'll be happier and more comfortable.
» An examination of your pet in its normal environment is a BETTER examination because it is less stressful. Your pet's behavior and vital signs will not be influenced by environment, and so are more likely to be accurate during examination.
» Behavioral problems can more easily be diagnosed by directly assessing the home environment and lifestyle of pet.
» Having us come to your home is less stressful for YOU. A house call minimizes disruption of your schedule, and eliminates the stresses you experience in taking your pets in your vehicle, into traffic and into an often chaotic clinical setting.

I do offer in-home euthanasia for my patients that are suffering or terminally ill. I prefer to give the ailing pet a sedative to reduce any pain and relieve anxiety. Once that has taken effect I will then administer the IV drug to end their life humanely. I work with a pet cremation service and can schedule them to come meet me at the housecall to take your pet for cremation.
| In-home euthanasia with sedation, including trip fee within Pinellas County | $145 to $175 (dependent on weight of the animal) |
